Set My Table South Africa designs and makes printed table linen in our own factory in Durban, South Africa. Every item is printed and sewn to order. Here are answers to the questions we are asked most often.
What products do you make?
We make printed table runners, placemats, napkins, reusable bowl covers, dishcloths and aprons. Most prints are available across the whole range, so you can buy single items or a complete matching table set.
What are your table runners and placemats made of?
The face is a linen-look woven polyester with a natural slub texture, printed edge to edge. It is backed with a soft matt velvet lining that adds weight, helps placemats lie flat and gives runners a neat drape over the table edge.
What are your napkins, bowl covers and dishcloths made of?
Napkins, bowl covers and dishcloths are made from soft, absorbent microfibre towelling. Bowl covers have an elasticised edge for a snug fit, and dishcloths are printed on both sides.
How are the designs printed? Will they fade?
We use dye-sublimation printing, which bonds the colour into the fabric fibres. The print is part of the fabric, so it won't crack or peel and stays bright through regular washing.
What sizes are available?
- Table runners: 200 cm, 260 cm or 300 cm long, all 40 cm wide
- Placemats: 30 cm x 40 cm, sold in sets of 4, 6 or 8
- Napkins: 30 cm x 30 cm, sold in sets of 4, 6 or 8
- Bowl covers: small (fits 18 to 21 cm bowls), medium (20 to 25 cm), large (28 to 35 cm), or a combo set of all three
- Dishcloths: 58 cm x 36 cm
What does a table set include?
Each table set includes one table runner, three bowl covers (small, medium and large), and placemats and napkins for 4, 6 or 8 place settings, all in the same print.
How do I care for my table linen?
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
- Line dry; do not tumble dry
- Warm iron on the reverse if needed
How long will my order take?
Every item is made to order. Please allow 10 to 14 working days for production, and then 2 to 4 days for delivery to most South African destinations. See our Shipping Policy.
Can I return an item?
Items can be returned within 7 days of purchase in their original packaging. Custom or personalised items made to your specifications cannot be returned. Return shipping is paid by the customer. See our Refund Policy for full details.
